We are a group of volunteers who have received guidance and training from the meditation master Shiva Rudra Balayogi (Babaji) to share this meditation with anyone who is interested. Babaji, through a prolonged and extensive practice of meditation using the age-old Jangama meditation technique, achieved the highest achievement of spirituality, Self Realisation. Our course content shares Babaji’s first-hand experiences offering a rare insight into the workings of the mind and meditation.
Throughout human history the question of the fundamental nature of existence has always been a source of intrigue for the greatest minds. In the modern world science has made great advances resulting in tremendous material progress. But the basic causes of unhappiness that lead to conflicts and suffering have not been understood and conquered.
Our mind is the powerhouse through which we achieve and enjoy everything in life – but its cravings are also the cause of tension, insecurity and loss of peace. Everyone knows how important it is to have a healthy body, but how to have a healthy mind is often overlooked.
Meditation is the practice to regain the health and control of the mind. It can give us focus, clarity and that elusive peace and contentment we are all looking for.
Alongside the courses, we also offer continued support in weekly group meditations. Babaji always emphasises the importance of regularity in a meditation practice. Practising in a group with like-minded individuals can be so helpful in motivating ourselves to keep up the practice. All our events are free of charge and donations are received with thanks.
