Peace descends

Meditation Master Shiva Rudra Balayogi (Babaji) says,

“If you look into your mind, the constant cravings of the mind is the basic reason for unhappiness, tension or fear, so many things arise. The mind never accepts or stops into one thing. It constantly goes into cravings. Before achieving something there is anxiousness, then once you achieve it the anxiousness of losing it happens and the mind then tries to look into something else. That is when this imagination of the mind gives rise to this stress.”

In meditation we can overcome these cravings of the mind. Through the technique of watching, the mind becomes purified of its acquired habits and peace starts to descend. We can be the master of this mind rather than dancing to its tunes.
